Puzzle Land (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a jigsaw puzzle application suitable for all ages. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app.

Information Stored On-Device Only

Puzzle Progress: Completed puzzles, stars earned, and best times
App Settings: Sound preferences
Parental Access PIN: If set, a 4-digit PIN used to restrict access to the Settings screen
Unlocked Content: Which puzzles and categories are unlocked

All of this data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.

Information Collected by Third-Party SDKs

Advertising (Start.io)

Puzzle Land displays ads through Start.io. The SDK is configured with COPPA compliance and Mixed Audience mode, which limits data collection. Start.io may collect:

Device information (model, OS version)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix app crashes. Crashlytics collects:

Crash logs and stack traces
Device model and OS version
App state at the time of crash

No personally identifiable information is collected through Crashlytics. For details, see Firebase Privacy Policy.

How We Use Information

To save your puzzle progress locally on your device
To display age-appropriate advertisements
To detect and fix crashes and bugs

Data Storage

All user data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers and do not store any user data in the cloud. The only network activity is:

Loading advertisements (Start.io)
Sending crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

Parental Access (Parent Gate)

Puzzle Land includes a Parental Access feature to help parents control access to the app’s Settings screen:

Parents can create a 4-digit PIN to protect access to settings
The PIN is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server
The PIN can be deleted at any time from the Settings screen
No personal information is collected as part of this feature

Privacy Protections

Puzzle Land is suitable for all ages, including young children under parental supervision. We are committed to protecting user privacy:

We do not collect personal information from users
All puzzle progress and settings remain on the device
Ads are configured with child-safe settings (COPPA compliant, Mixed Audience)
The app does not use behavioral profiling
No user accounts or registration required

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

Right of Access: You may request information about data collected through third-party SDKs
Right to Erasure: You can delete all local data by uninstalling the app
Right to Object: You may object to the processing of your data

Data Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all data including puzzle progress and sound settings.

Data Security

All network communications use encrypted connections (HTTPS). No personal data is stored on external servers.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date.
